Train the Trainer

March 9th, 10th & 11th   2012

This 24 hour, three day course is designed to prepare trainers to teach the CERT material to community members by demonstrating instructional methods.  Topics include terrorism, disaster fire suppression, disaster medical operations, light search and rescue, and team organization and management.  Participants in this course will practice what they have learned in short teaching presentations.  This course is open to individuals who have taken the CERT program and have a working knowledge of CERT. 

Who Should Attend the Training?   This course is reserved for individuals who:

  1. Have already taken the 20 hour CERT course of instruction at the national, state or local level;
  2. Are nominated by their CERT program sponsoring agency; and,
  3. Will be instructing the CERT program to their community through their sponsoring organization.
