2nd Annual Pleasant Hill CERT Exercise

October 15, 2011

Who said earthquakes only happen during the daytime?
Get your gear ready! Pleasant Hill CERT will be conducting its second annual exercise……not during the day….but during dusk and the evening of Saturday, October 15th at the Pleasant Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church on Grayson Road (between Twinview Drive and Taylor Blvd) between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:30pm.

This exercise will challenge our skills in search and rescue, light cribbing, triage, first aid, and medical transport…precisely the skills we would use following a major earthquake that impacts Pleasant Hill.

Save the date! You will be contacted soon by your Area Coordinator to determine your availability. Remember, if you don’t practice the skills you learned in class….you’re likely to forget them. This is a great opportunity to get those questions answered and to practice those skills.

If you’re interested and willing to assist with the exercise preparation, contact Don Mayo at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
